Welcome to Dungeon Painter!! Why do I call my blog Dungeon Painter? Well, over the last 5 years I have gone from having my own game/painting room to a desk in the deepest, darkest corner of my house. Average temperature this time of year is 35 degrees!!
After years of lurking around “mini” blogs, I have decided to start my own with the hope of staying motivated in terms of painting and to keep clients for commissioned work (something new for me this year) regularly updated on their armies.
So without further ado, below are some images of a Tyranid commission that I am working on. Paint scheme is fairly simple. I was given a few bottles of paint and basic instructions and ran with it.
I couldn’t help myself and skipped over the appetizers, main course and went right to dessert. Behold the Mawloc!!! I finished this model in 4 hours....thanks to Army Painter colored primer and Devlan Mud.
I REALLY like the gradation of color between the armor and the teeth/claws!
ReplyDeleteThat thing would probably get nailed with a broom by my wife if I left it on the floor. Awesome.
