Day 3 Bone Nids

No pics tonight, but I was able to get 2 more Warrior Broods and 10 Termagants finished. Next up...Trygon!!! I feel I should get the "bigs" out of the way and the rest should come pretty easy. Pics will come tomorrow.

Day 2 Bone Nids

Finished two Warrior Broods last night. Have two more on the table now as well as a Zoanthrope. My goal, as long as my son goes to bed by 8:30 every night is to have 1850 pts of Nids done by Feb 27th.

I have attached some pictures below. Will base everything I have painted during the week some time over the weekend. Still learning how to use new camera so there is a little glare or lack of light in some of the pics.

Bone Nids

Welcome to Dungeon Painter!! Why do I call my blog Dungeon Painter? Well, over the last 5 years I have gone from having my own game/painting room to a desk in the deepest, darkest corner of my house. Average temperature this time of year is 35 degrees!!

After years of lurking around “mini” blogs, I have decided to start my own with the hope of staying motivated in terms of painting and to keep clients for commissioned work (something new for me this year) regularly updated on their armies.

So without further ado, below are some images of a Tyranid commission that I am working on. Paint scheme is fairly simple. I was given a few bottles of paint and basic instructions and ran with it.

I couldn’t help myself and skipped over the appetizers, main course and went right to dessert. Behold the Mawloc!!! I finished this model in 4 hours....thanks to Army Painter colored primer and Devlan Mud.
